Before the crash
Before Roswell, there was the fire.
Kenzie Brazel inherited the ranch. She inherited the work. And she inherited a wound Roswell never stopped whispering about.
Years before anything fell from the sky, a fire killed Kenzie’s parents and shattered the friendship that once bound her to Ruby “Red” Malone. Everyone had a version of what happened. Nobody had the whole truth.
Some mysteries begin long before anyone thinks to call them a mystery.

A ranch. A fallen craft. A military recovery. Witnesses who disagree about almost everything — except that the official story does not fit what they saw.

Kenzie eventually found the proof Ruby had been missing. Then Kenzie disappeared.

The drinks are real. The music is loud. The stories get stranger after midnight. There is something about the place — especially that back exit — that nobody has managed to explain.
Some come looking for a good drink. Others leave with a story they will never be able to explain.

Then Sol disappeared.
The Nowhere Bar had already collected more stories than anyone could explain. Then one of SHD Studios’ most visible musicians vanished beneath an impossible light.
